Walking: Be prepared for hills, uneven payment and steps. Streets and sidewalks in Portugal can have steep inclines that you must be able to negotiate without excessive difficulty. Navigating stairs is required to access the classroom and breakfast room. We caution that this retreat is not the right fit if you have difficulty walking or have a health-related condition that would limit participation or inconvenience the rest of the group. We can make some adjustments to room location and excursions to reduce stairs and amount of walking needed. Please note that we are unable to accommodate walkers, wheelchairs or motorized vehicles.

Luggage: Be prepared to handle your own luggage. Choose a size that you can manage on your own, and pack light. We like to say, "pack clothing that you can wear, rinse and repeat." Note that our transport vehicles cannot accommodate excessive or over-sized baggage

Travel Insurance: You are responsible for any of your own medical expenses while on a Lauretta’s Art Adventures, LLC retreat. Also, if you must cancel your trip for any reason whatsoever - including health reasons for yourself or a family member, travel ban or any personal reason - cancellation fees as stated in our terms and conditions will apply. Travel insurance – medical and trip cancellation insurance - can cover some or all of these expenses. Therefore, we highly recommend you contact your local travel agency to obtain a travel insurance policy
